Dedicated volunteers serving AAANE with passion, integrity, and a deep commitment to the Aligarh mission.
"You can leave Aligarh, but Aligarh never leaves you."
Dear Fellow Aligarians and Friends of AAANE, it is both an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the Aligarh Alumni Association of New England. I am grateful for the trust our community has placed in me, and I accept this responsibility with deep humility and a clear sense of purpose.
When I look at our membership, I see not just alumni — I see mentors, physicians, engineers, educators, and neighbors bound together by a shared institution that shaped our character long before we crossed any ocean. AMU did not merely give us degrees; it gave us a way of thinking, a code of conduct, and a commitment to something larger than ourselves. That is the foundation on which AAANE stands.
Over the past two decades, AAANE has quietly but meaningfully served New England: through scholarships, community outreach, our scholarship programs that have connected students with opportunities at US universities, and through cultural events that remind us — and our children — of the extraordinary legacy we carry.
As your President, my priorities are clear: greater transparency and engagement, stronger programming for our youth and next generation of Aligarians, deeper support for our scholarship programs, and bringing the warmth of our community to more families across New England. I also believe deeply in the vision of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan — that education, reason, and service are the truest marks of a civilized society.
I invite every member, every well-wisher, every friend of Aligarh to step forward — not just with your support, but with your ideas, your time, your expertise, and your presence. The caravan grows when people join it.
