AAANE is a non-political, non-profit, secular organization devoted to charitable, educational, literary, cultural, and social activities — promoting the interests of Aligarh Muslim University, its student body, and alumni across New England.
Our mission centers on strengthening ties among AMU alumni, supporting underprivileged students in India, and carrying forward the Aligarh movement. Membership is open to all — irrespective of race, religion, creed, or color.
Together we can strive for so much — achieve so much — not only for ourselves, but for the many desiring a better life through commitment and community. No voice is too small, nor is any contribution insignificant.
"You can leave Aligarh, but Aligarh never leaves you."
Dear Fellow Aligarians and Friends of AAANE, it is both an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the Aligarh Alumni Association of New England. I accept this responsibility with deep humility and a clear sense of purpose.
When I look at our membership, I see not just alumni — I see mentors, physicians, engineers, educators, and neighbors bound together by a shared institution that shaped our character long before we crossed any ocean.
As your President, my priorities are clear: greater engagement, stronger programming for our youth, deeper support for our scholarship and fellowship programs, and bringing the warmth of our community to more families across New England.
From flagship scholarships to community outreach — reflecting the breadth of AAANE's commitment to excellence.
